    Sammy:

You've got a cool car there. I think the Holden bodied 33-36 cars have a neat look to them. Sort of like what if you blended a 33 and 41 together. Very cool pictures too. When was the last time anyone saw Kangaroo's, wild Cockatoo's, and a Willys together? (lol)

Here's a few pictures of Frank Silva's 33 at New England Dragway. The car has run some easy 10.00s at 130 mph with a stack injected sbc on methanol.

A couple of years ago this 33 came up for sale at auction close to home. It was sitting in the garage for over 30 years. It needed ALOT of work, but it still sold for 26 grand.

I heard or read that one of the Young brothers (AC/DC) was building a 33. Anyone know if it got built?

    G'Day Rocky.
I am renewing my passport now but at this stage my plan was to spend my money on my 41 Willys Gasser project.
When i get it finished then i want to come back up there and see you's all again.
I still remember my last Walkabout up there as if it was yesterday but it was back in 2004.
Like everyone else i need to win the Lottery lol

Thanks for the compliment on my Willys.
As far as i know there was only 86 of these Holden bodys made down here and mine is the only one on the road sofar. Over the years i have only found about 6 of these as wrecks.
My 36 body still has all the original timber in it as they were a timber body with the panels nailed to the timber.
Mine is a bit sloppy in the suicide doors when there open but it is still pretty good as i have driven it 64,000 kilometers sofar and still got lots more to go before i get to rebuild it.

    G'Day Trouble.
I am doing good down here but today is bloody hot as its a bit over a 100 at the moment here.
I am still looking for a shelia down here that has her own Willys collection lol.
I think i better have a look on my puter and see if i can find some pic's of Aussie 33 to 36 Willys to post on here and 37 to 42 Willys to post on the other thread.

Here are some pic's of a Aussie 34 sedan that i found a few years ago.
The bloke that owns it said he brought it for $1.00 AUS.
I offered him $2.00 so he would have doubled his money :D:D
I wanted to buy it but he said he was gunna do it up one day.
It is a mint rust free car and everything is still on it.

The art deco hood ornament seems to crop up from time to time on Aussie Model 77s. I have the same hood ornament minus the metal ring on my 1933 roadster - maybe the ring broke off on mine? I believe it was an aftermarket piece, not supplied by Holdens from the factory. It necessitates drilling the original hood ornament and using a blind head bolt to fasten it on top.

Here's photos of the book I did when I built the Boss Hydro tribute car.. A big part of the build was to build the car the way my Dad did back in 1966. The chassis is a boxed 1933 frame, the front suspension was stock dimension 1933 Willys, the spindles and steering box are 1941 Willys the same as the original too... There are more build pics over at http://gassermadness.com/Gas-FX/index.php?board=12.0
