I did a little searching for that ad after you posted not be able to find it. I couldn't find it either. I even pasted some of the images into Google, and all it found were the images you posted here in this thread. The ad must have been deleted.

I think that I saw a front end like that for sale a long time ago in the West Coast Willys daily email. I think it said yard art and was in the north east.

I forget the name of the guy that owns this car, but it was build by Dennis Taylor. It's pretty quick. Last year it ran an 8.30 something in the 1/4. Blown BBC.

I emailed Ryan and he can't go back to old classifieds. The guy was selling a hood ornament I think in December of 2013 on the H.A.M.B.

Took me a while to remember who this was. It's John Carter's Willys. Definitely not the same car but very cool.

This one was an unusual setup, it had a small engine in the back and an engine up front too. Also its odd that it had no fenders. full-2.jpeg

Does anybody remember the 'glass bodied '33 that had a Briggs n Stratton engine and had two different paint schemes - gasser markings on one side and street rod trim on the other? It was in some of the mags.

Some more Willys tonight. The Crane Bros Willys from (I think) Utah. Chris Boggess, a metal shaper from Utah ended up with it, and turned it into a beautiful all steel street rod. Lots of trick fabrication on the finished car.

Here's a few you don't see every day. How about a 33 Willys with a straight 8 and a few sedans.

I took that picture of the Pettengill Brothers Willys at OCIR in 1970. I don't recall seeing it run. It was red. I have the color pic around here someplace.

Thanks Mark and another for starting this thread. Looks like I need to crank up the front a touch and it probably would have been good to shut the door. Just did not want anything from keeping me from exercising the old girl. You mentioned survivor. Jim Kirby and I have still not been able to figure out who he built this car for. I have been thinking about doing a contest for whoever gets closest to the number of lacquer checks. Winner gets a NOS World Gasser Championships shirt.
How about some pics of the progress on yours.

I wish I had a progress pic. No money in the budget right now. Still paying off bills and trying to raise a family. I'll eventually get it turned around, but it's going to take some more time.

This is the best I could come up with for an interior shot. You may want to message member krassandbernie. He's close to Ken Kull who owns the car, and may have an interior shot.
