Getting ready to head out to Pennsylvania next week for Hershey and got a little motivated on the car. Got the new master cylinder and e-brake mounts fabricated and mounted. I used a piece of angle iron bolted between the battery box mounting holes.

Just got back from my trip to the Hershey swap meet. Got a bunch of great roadster parts for this car and future projects. Grabbed up some of #billmonzo123 great parts. Quarter panel caps, door hardware and seat reinforcement plates.

Nice score. Is that an extra roadster dash, or needed for one of the cars ?

Just wondering if anyone knows why this thread has not been active lately.

He has many irons in the fire. He has been reproducing beautiful 33-34 roadster and cabriolet and 35-36 roadster top irons in stainless steel to fill the void in supply since Superior/Girtz went out of business. He is also looking to expand his availability to some Phaeton applications. He is also making wood bows

Thanks for the update Uncle Buck. This thread has been a huge resource for my own 34 roadster build and I am using a lot of Elvis100's parts, icluding a set of his chopped ss top irons, which I highly recommend. Needless to say, I am anxiously awaiting his next update(s).

For his next trick, he will be pulling a rabbit, no wait he will be shaping raw material into gorgeous parts that make the roadster even more complete! I also want to see it!

I've also been following along as a resource for my future '34 build. Detailed build threads like this are really helpful.

  15. Just a comment on the master cylinder bracket. I see it only has one bolt on each side to mount it. To me, it is going to want to twist/deflect when heavy pedal pressure is applied to it. I'd probably add a vertical piece of strap that goes forward and bolts to the center transmission x-member. This would really strengthen the bracket and make it a lot more solid. I know - it isn't my car . . . so I should shut up! LOL

I’ve taken a long break on this one, but it’s still there. Other projects have gotten in the way. I picked up the front half of another 34 roadster that had been heavily modified with shortened doors. I’ve been lengthening the doors back to stock.

I also just picked up a nice original paint 35 roadster that I’m doing a quick mechanical restoration on in an effort to get running and driving this summer.
