You would think at my age I should be thinning out the herd a bit, but sometimes I just can't help myself. On craigslist for a few days and he finally called me and it was just a few blocks from me. Been stored inside for over 50 years. Last licensed 1964. Complete other than a headlight lens and I don't think the radiator mascot is correct. No rust other than surface and the doors shut like a rolls royce. Pretty rare not having side mounts. Nice. I wouldn't be able to resist either. Like waving a raw steak in front of a hungry dog.

Seen that on craigslist, certainly was tempting as it is a beautiful car. Just out of space.

NICE SCORE!!!! I LOVE that coupe! You are correct. That is not the correct radiator mascot/cap. It should look like this, the leaping gazelle....the 6 cylinder cars have the area behind the front legs filled in. The 8 cylinder has the gap behind the front legs as I show. Picture 9572.jpg

So the non-sidemount cars are gentleman's coupe? They list a coupe and a sport coupe. What's the difference?
Anyone have a headlight lens and reflector, proper radiator mascot? I hope the engine is free. May have to pull the head and see what I got to work with.

The rear spare mounted version is usually called the "rumble seat coupe" or "four p***enger coupe". The dual sidemount version is usually called the "sport coupe", but the name may differ from maker to maker.

That is a cool car. Not traditional rod material though! I would get it running and driving and tool around as is.

It doesn't get much better than that. I love how the hood goes all the way back to the split windshield.

I believe that the 1933 and 1934 headlamp lenses are the same, but better to verify. They look the same.

I don't know if this place is still in business, if so, he should have OEM H/L parts :

    either:
    Headlight Headquarters
    or,
    Donald Axlerod, in M***achusetts

That is ridiculously cool. A lot of style. Great purchase. I'd paint it Gloss black, chrome those hood doors, tall tires, big white walls, black spokes with rings and caps, mohair, tommy gun on the seat (open carry state), cigar humidor in the glove box.

Thanks! Wiped it down and knocked a few dents out of the fenders. Looks a bit better now. The gas tank was out of it and it looks bad. Got 5lbs of crud rolling around in it and a rust hole, as well as that awesome dead gas aroma. Probably why they kept it outside. Probably have to fab one up, unless Tanks inc. has something close. Probably a rare item. Going to get at the flywheel teeth and see if the engine can turn, them find a carb and fuel pump kit if it does. Otherwise, off with it's head!

    What size eight is that?

    Is that an updraft carburetor?
