Well the car is nearly done. I helped Tim push it outside for the first time assembled. He is having the grill plated and putting the hood on it. The engine is just temperary. He had the interior done in mohair and has chromed garnish moldings. Should be on the road soon!!
great build! hell if he hadn't started at $0 budget doing mohair would have stroked him out, about the price of a small new car!
Yeah, that interior was not cheap . He bought the mohair and sent it to LeBarron Bonney and had them stich it.
THank you for saving that car!!! Too many ended up on the scrap pile. But that one didnt.... You can take pride in the work you've done.....!!
It is incredible that someone would even have the vision to begin on something this far out of whack!!!
I agree with you completely, Dale. Yet, not one of those restorer turds could ever bring a car in that condition back to life.
Incredible work, not just in repairing a truly wasted body, but in making a fenderless, unchopped 33-34 sedan look so "right", which in my opinion is a tough look to pull off, this one looks great.
Love bump reading stuff I would have never found. This turned out beautifully. Makes one feel incredibly brave.
