Projects 1933 Ford for sale in The Netherlands

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by HaroldDegand, Dec 4, 2016.

  1. Hello, I found this '33 for sale.
It was parked for a long time in a humid local, the engine is blocked, the interior is totally unrecoverable and the bottom is rosty.
It's not in good condition but complete and with ***le.
The seller ask 4950€ (5200$) but he's open to lower the price.

That's a nice find. I wouldn't go near that interior without a respirator, though :p

  4. If That's $ 5,200.00 American? It would have came home with me!

That's an incredible bargain in US dollars, and they must be 100 times more rare and hard to find in the Netherlands.

And the fact that it's a 4 cylinder actually makes it more desirable in this case, since early 21 stud flatheads aren't very desirable to the V8 guys but 33/34 4 cylinders are highly coveted by 4 cylinder guys.

I agree with timwhit as far as prices go.

Really? It costs more than that to ship a car from CA to here. I have never done overseas shipping, but I kinda wonder about that.

    Did you buy it?

  17. I have never seen a car here with that much moisture damage. We have had minor floods here the last few years caused by torential rains so i wonder if this car was a victim of climate change .

You realize the interior is Mohair, right?

  19. No, too much work to do for me.
    Need a total restoration.
