1933 Ford pickup. This car came out of Garland Texas circa 1999. Drove home Route 66 to Detroit and then Detroit to Bonneville the next year- Great driving truck!

Body: although the truck is a 33, the cab is a 32 (only major difference is the bead around the back of the cab. 2” Chop done 25 years ago. No rust- and there seems to be some original orange paint under the brown lacquer primer. Driver’s door appears to have had some lower hinge repair done- minor metal crack in this area but door is solid. Front fenders are solid- no rot or bead breaks. p***enger side fender has tire well. Left rear fender is good, right rear fender needs a some work on the bead. Running boards are good and solid. Excellent hood with old school rounded louvers and grill is nice. The hood is ‘33 but the grill is ‘34 I believe. The bed is original- metal floor with wood underlay. Some rot in the front couple inches but does not effect the structure. Good sides and tailgate. Bed liner is made of some old truck re-caps.

Interior: Stock original seat with shortened riser with older grey upholstery. Original dash with Stewart Warner gauges, good gl***, functional windshield and cowl vent. There is a headliner as well.

Ch***is: original ch***is with rebuilt 33 ford rear upgraded to 3.54 ratio. 40 ford Juice brakes all around with new shoes and wheel cylinders. Front axle is an old mor drop with fresh kingpins and bushings. Single master cylinder conversion with original pedals. 15” steel wheels with big and little Coker bias ply white walls.

Engine: fresh rebuild, 1939 Mercury stock with 0.030” bore. The engine and trans came out of **** LeHaie’s ‘39 Merc convertible with 48k miles before rebuild. Stock heads, cam, and intake with Holley 94 carb and pertronix distributor. Skip Haney water pumps. Generator has been rebuilt as well (12v conversion with solid state regulator). Stock fuel pump with backup electric plumbed in.

Transmission: 1939 Merc double detent that is perfect inside. Shifts perfect and does not pop out of gear.

Other: New clutch and lightened flywheel. Original fuel tank that was boiled and coated years ago. Radiator is original with no leaks. This car runs cool even in hot Florida weather. The car can be driven anywhere as long as you don’t want to run 80 down the highway!

I’m listing this for my dad- car is in North Port Florida- fly in and drive it home! You can contact me for most any questions though.
