Thats all cool, but im looking for pics of the hinge hardware. ie hinge pins and the little funny spaces that go in between the door hinge and body hinge.

Here are some pictures of the hinges. The hinge is tapered up top for a tapered head screw. Then in the bottom it has a spring that keeps tension on the nut. Kind of weird, so i'm thinking of a better way to make this work.

I started working on the drivers front door yesterday. It had some bondo in it so I first ground that out, then put it back in my sand blasting cabinet to finish taking it all off. Then I got the dents all worked out. It has some rust on the bottom so I have to take care of that next.

Sure thing, the brass balls measure 3/4". I was able to find some on the web that we're threaded that I can drill out to the right size. Hope that helps.

    Thanks guys!

So I got the bottom patched, and it all leveled out. Now I need to blast the body and work out any issues there.

I started mocking up the engine and transmission in the car. I used a mock up block I had at the shop so that I didn't have to worry about damaging the new engine.

I still have a few things I need to check for on space, but its pretty much where its going to be.

Also mocked up the new Brassworks radiator. Im super impressed with the craftsmanship.

The UK built Thames 300E van used those type of hinges on the rear doors.

I got the Pete and Jake ladder bars today, and got them tacked in place. Next thing to work on is the rear spring.

Looking awesome. Like the C4 as well, nice fit transmission for flatties and gives you more floor space.

Im working on modifying the rear crossmember. I need to flatten it as well as modify the center so that I can use a straight 36' spring. First I put bracing all around so that nothing would move on me. Then I cut the center out and then cut the other two pieces out.

I worked today on getting the center of the crossmember square instead of curved. Then I got that placed at the height I wanted in the car. Then I got the one piece re-shaped to connect it back onto the frame.

I finished up the rear crossmember (except for some grinding on some of the welds). Now I have to make up some spring hangers for the axle.

I got the transmission mounted, and started working on the exhaust headers. They were some that we had laying around the shop. The drivers side rear leg had to be modified to clear the steering box.
