Can someone tell me how to remove a horn ****on ***embly from an original 1933 willys steering wheel. I don't want to destroy it trying to remove it?
    any help appreciated.

    Thanks,
    James

It may be best to gently pry out the metal cup with the horn ****on. You will have to cut the wire. I used Kroil penetrating oil to loosen up the cup and gently pried with a nylon automotive trim removal tool....

    Raceful,

On my 1933 Willys-Overland the horn ****on also had the headlight high and low beam.

If this is what you have you will need to remove the switch at the bottom of the steering colum and also If I remember right there is also a set screw at the bottom.

    Hope this helps. derald

I think Raceful's Willys is a Model 77 - different horn ****on and steering wheel. However with regard to my earlier post you may not be able to pry the horn cup off if the wheel is still bolted to the column. I'll have to go look in the barn and report back....
