I found out who the shop is... Lots of Minnesotans thought they were supporting a good local business , so instead of going mail order they would buy from them ... They tried building frames in the early 2000s I had a friend that bought one wasnt horrible but was still kinda amateur ... Wire welded , not completely square ... Be ok if it was cheap ... But he paid the price of a Pete and jakes .... I think it's a case of trying to live up to what they think or say they can do, I have more opinions about the joint and stories , but doesn't pertain to ****ty ch***is work

One thing for sure if the place gets mentioned . It's bad publicity and only a good ol google click away! Good potential for business loss depending on how they handle it...

I think his defense is going to be I made him give the frame back before it was complete. If I had let them finish it I'd have 15k in labor for just the frame and who knows how many problems with it.

There are two different companies calling themselves Gibbon selling fibergl*** bodies. Looks like one is the original company, the other is different, but bought a bunch of molds from the original company and is selling "Gibbon" bodies from them. Is either the same as the "old" bodies with the good reputation?

I think so too ....but what IS done should be correct , it's unusable as is .. It would figure the only thing they finished is completely wrong!

It's supposed to be tacked , ready to weld right or was it 85 hrs for a loose ****ed up mock up? Place ****s... I hope your able to fry em

  6. There's no defense for what you received or what they charged you.
    None.

Of course there may be an excuse, which is nothing more than a very thin skin of truth stuffed with a lie.
