Main outline of the roll cage is all tacked together. Have a few connecting pieces still to make but will wait till I get a few more things done on the car before I complete it so that I don't have any more obstacles getting in and out of the car. Learned a ton from @Marty Strode. Need to do another one so I can engrain in my brain all the steps we went though :). On to steering and seat placement and maybe some louvers in the hood and decklid soon! Pumped on the progress!

That cage is bitchn'. Did you build it to a specific class or sanctioning body?

We used the funny car cage dimensions and then put some of our own styling into it. Marty had an NHRA tech come out after the first couple tubes were in place and he said it should not have a problem certifying to 8.50. With a cage this cool, I need to make sure the driver and car perform now(mostly the driver) :)

Built a little seat frame the last couple days that will sit beneath the floorboards on the 34. With the seat riser and seat above the floor, it should give it a good sandwich :). Moving on to the steering now. Think I am going with a mustang box that will be mounted to the front hoop of the rollcage. I have a couple pictures I took of the Peckerheads 7-11 car so I am going to try and duplicate some aspects of their setup. Also, should get the motor back from the machine shop this week! Slowly plugging away!
