1934 ash tray radio -philco

Would like to know how the 1934 ford radio antenna .leads mate up,my radio has a10 inch lead with nothing on the end. The new repo extension antenna lead has a barrel connector with two ears on the outside. So my thought is,maybe the radio antenna lead should have a female barrel connector and if so where would I get one. Please help Thanks EPW
