Model 40 roadsters are way different than coupes... it would look like a hack job.. IMO. This needs to be a coupe again. Cant wait to see how this car turns out!!

Yeah I know what your thinking but with new roadster cowl tops and door tops, cut the belt line off and fab up a rear surround you'd have a 34 really cheap. Most guys can't afford these thing, hell I paid twice that for mine!

The Circle city built roadster started out as a 5W...

Yes, I put this in the cl***ifieds, I really wanna build it... But at the same time trying to get further on my roadster, get my 33 pickup back on the road and I have all kinds of plans for my 41 convertible. I just don't see a lot of time or money being available anytime soon for it. So if it sells, it sells...if not it'll get something done eventually

He just made me feel better about my Model A too:D

I'd bet that old gal is the remnants of a "stock car" off the dirt tracks up in that area that got cut up and thrown in the field when a better body came along. Good to see that it got rescued now lets see it put back together and driven before it gets sold.

Chris isn't much more than rock throwing distance from Jim's place so that isn't as far out as it sounds.

I know this is an old thread somebody dredged up, but does anyone know what happened to this car? Knowing the skill levels of some guys on here, it's probably been on the road for the last year and a half!

  8. Prize : How about a finished 34 coupe body :)

Sorry Chris, couldn't help myself. Great find mate, all the best with it.
Hotrodders are the best recyclers the world will ever know :)
