Technical 1934 FORD DOOR LOCK HELP

    HAVE 34 steel 3 window , there's a lock above the door handle
    Question is if that door locks , what about drivers side?
    No lock above door handle
    Any help would be great

    what happens when you move the inside handle, opposite from the direction that opens the door? Does it lock the door?

    Safety feature = forces the driver to lock his door , by pushing the inside handle forward to lock , then slide across and exit from curb side to lock with the key. that's how my 33 is.

    I recently found a '32 latch that fits the left door, but it has a lock cylinder in it. I'm not sure where it originated, but we're going to install it in the coupe project. I wonder if anyone will notice the cylinder on the "wrong" side?

    Here's the door lock on my T coupe. Found a bad door that had this and grafted it in. Only one I have ever seen. IMG_1121.JPG
