Might hop over to the Ford barn. They have a resident lock guy there. He can answer your question.

The last time you asked this, I posted a picture of my Model T coupe door lock, driver's side. Obviously, if I can do it, it is possible; only thing is that I had the advantage of actually finding the door lock hole for my car. I suggest that you remove your driver's side door latch and see if it does have the locking mechanism. It will be a small female square hole inside a round hole that can rotate. If it does, you are good to go. The door lock cylinder is available from any Ford reproduction parts vendor - fits either left or right door for a whole wack of years. The hard part will be accurately locating the hole for the lock cylinder. It has to line up perfectly with that female square hole (insert ***ist remark here). Also you need to figure out how to insert a steel sleeve to hold the lock cylinder and make up something to hold the set screw. I have pictures of my Model T's setup on my build thread, "Getting the bugs out". Ford did not put a key door lock on the driver's door up to 1940 so you are probably better off just doing as everyone else does and exit on the p***enger side when you lock up your car.

Gold, you missed the point. He wants to find a guy who can make a door cylinder match his column cylinder.

Skid, I think you just need to find an old time lock shop in a big city. They can probably take your new repro cylinder and make it match the column. Hopefully you don't need to dis***emble the column cylinder to read numbers or measure the plunger thingies.
