    Recently picked up a 1934 ford pickup , want to build a bad a@@ frame hotrod style . was wondeing if there are any books or web sites dedicated to building ( Z-ing ) custom hotrod frames .

    Tex Smith's "Hot Rod Chassis", pretty much covers it....but personal style and influence will steer you as well...

    Ofcourse skills, talent and knowledge are needed as well

    we have done 4 like this for the 35-36 pick ups.
    Doing one for my son's 34 pick up next week...
    (vendettaautofab could do one I bet!!)

    Heres a pic of the one we build and offer, this actually went to a customer in Denver with a 34 pickup. PM me for pricing. We can build to anystage. Or feel free to call or PM with any questions about your own frame build.

    We did a 34 frame in the same vane as the Jimmy Shine truck for a customer in Italy last year. Kicked way up in the rear with A rear crossmember for QC, axle in front of the spring with HPs, flathead with 39 box. Designed for a channeled truck.

    Kinda on a budget , would you be interested in selling any plans/specs ? . Really want to learn how to do this as my brother has a 27 T pickup that were going to build another frame for .
