The radiator shell is a 1933 Ford Pickup/panel. The 34 is slightly different in shape and has a diecast ornament up top which holds the Ford oval.

The grill does have the little oval ford logo on it so that makes me think it is a '34. I will get in and take some more pictures. and Chop32 thank you so much for telling me that there was no oil filter! I was pretty confused there for a bit. And Suede I will take some more pictures.

Thanks for all the help guys!

This is a 34 grill. Notice the chrome bull nose on top that holds the Ford football. Also the stainless trim around the grill "teeth". Your 33 has no holes around the teeth to mount this trim. It's hard to see here but the top has a raised section that the "bull nose" sits on. Your 33 doesn't have that raised area.

What I would do for the steering wooble is have someone get in side and move the wheel back and forth while your outside looking at the the different parts of the steering system. Start at the box and move down. Watch each part and see if there's play between the 2 connections. Like if you can move the wheel more than an 1/8th of a turn before the pitman arm moves, the box is worn. Look at the tie rod ends, see if there is slop there. Also grabo one wheel and try it move it back and forth, side to side, and top and bottom, see if theres any play. everything should be tight with little play. I had a stock 29 that would wobble like that at about 40-45 mph. Changed some rod ends and adjusted the box and cleared it up.

I think it looks pretty good the way it is. Some minor cosmetic work will have it in fine form. Good luck with it!

Tommy has it right about the manual. I'm putting a 53 Cadillac 331 in my 33 Ford coupe, and that 53 Cadillac manual I got off ebay for about 40 bucks has been invaluable. You can still get some interesting manifold carb setups for the old Cad motors - makes it stand out from the crowd of Chevy smallblocks you will see at every turn. Stick with the Cad motor, they look great and are reliable.

On the top of the box There is a nut and the center of that nut is a straight screwdriver slot ,That is an adjustment to tighten box .Clockwise should tighten ,You wiggle wheel to get the play out While you adjust a little ,Till theres no play .,Don't over tighten ,Even power steering boxes have this adjustment .Nice truck ,Please put a 32 pasenger grille on the truck ......and also get Matt to make you up a set of nice pipes and lose that air cleaner ..Some paint and your truck will be sweet ,I wish I found what you bought ,Doesn't look bad .Take some more shots of the front end ,Maybe you can slide the radiator back ,Too hard to tell from pictures ,

Quite often a wobble that comes in at a certain speed is tire balance. Try that first.

It's pretty easy to check for worn or loose parts. Put some jack stands under the axle, grab each tire at 3 and 9 o'clock. Push and pull to feel for play. If you feel play check to see where it is coming from. There should be no play at the tie rod ends.

If the linkage is tight and you still feel play inside the box then an adjustment is necessary. One thing to check for on a hotrod with a non original box is that it was installed correctly. Disconnect the drag link and count the turns lock to lock on the steering wheel and go back exactly 1/2 way to center the box. The tires should be pointing straight ahead when the drag link is connected again. That is where the box needs to be adjusted, exactly 1/2 way. If the tires are not pointing straight ahead then the drag link needs to be adjusted or modified. It was common for guys to just turn the wheel to get the drag link to line up with the pitman arm. That's not cool. It will always have play and you won't be able to adjust the box to remove it.
