My Ole buddy Bobby Barnes. That car is iconic in the L A area.

 

I'd give my 81 year old, shriveled up left nut for that car, and also the right one to have had either of my 2 ex wives be the kind of woman he showed in the pic and described as to her interests and compatibility with him and his interests

 

I really enjoyed this, not crazy about the color but the man is a dye in the wool hot rodder. HRP

 

Great guy. I was sent to Torrance CA for work about 15 years ago, and spent my afternoons and evenings driving all over the area. I dropped in at Verne's Chrome Plating one day and they were happy to have a visitor! Very friendly and chatty, and gave me a nice tour of the place. Still carry the translucent red with chrome business cards in my wallet to this day.

 

Vernes has done a lot of my chroming over the years...ask Bob how much they like to do horn rings?
