I have had the good fortune to obtain an original 1934 Ford Roadster windshield frame in near perfect condition. The original which came with my car was badly pitted so we gave it a place of honor on the shop wall and installed a reproduction. This is the last piece of my car which is not an original. My question is: Will the seal on the reproduction work on the original? If so - how lucky do I have to be to actually reuse it, if not - where do I find one which will fit? Thanks in advance - I know I can trust at least one of you guys to know the answer. It's been awhile since I've posted anything on this forum - the car has been running great, we have enjoyed some fantastic road trips.

No - the pitted original is hanging on the wall. I have another original - in a box, that's nearly perfect; I want to put that one in place of the reproduction frame we put on the car back when we got it running.
Sorry, now I get it. three frames; reproduction rubber gasket. I can only say that I would measure both frame channel depths and widths. Then measure the frame opening heights and widths. All being equal, go for it. Unless of course you are against separating your present setup.
