For Sale: 1934 Ford roadster originally built by Dave Koskela of Eureka California in 1962. Dave ran Bonneville and Samoa dragstrip in 63-64 as car number 190. In 1965 Dave joined the army and the car sat until 1967 when he returned. From 1967 to 1969 it ran as car number 191. Dave would run the car at Bonneville and Fremont dragstrip. Originally built with a Chrysler wedge and later upgraded to an injected 392 hemi. The car would run 170mph at the lakes and 11.5 at the drags. In 1970 Dave sold the car, minus motor, transmission and rear end to use in his new Bantam Bonneville project. The car got sold to a gentleman that was going to restore it back to stock, but fortunately only got as far as torching out the roll bar. It is a very well built car with a very good body. Untouched race cars like this, especially 34 roadsters do not become available often. This is a great car to restore, or throw a Flathead in and go race at TROG, or any of the many vintage drag events going on around the country. I have quite a few old race photos of the car. The car is located in New Jersey. $ 28,000 without the magnesium Halibrand wheels or $ 32,000 with the magnesiums. Feel free to call or text with any questions 732-330-9016
