1934 V8 Flathead all original chassis and drivetrain 1/2 ton

    1934 Ford V8 Flathead all original chassis and drivetrain 1/2 ton.

    Would a 4 Banger and tranny from a 1933 Ford 1 1/2 Ton work with this chassis?

    I just traded for the chassis but not sure if I should even try for the V8 flathead and tranny since I already have the banger setup from the 33 1 1/2 Ton.

    I'm sorry, you will have to use the V8 transmission rather than that godawful granny box from the big truck if you really want be able to go anywhere.

    Well Almost bolt in.
    The driveshaft for the fourcylinder is Shorter than the V8 driveshaft.
    The Cylinder Diameter of the four cylinder engine, is bigger resulting in a longer engine= shorter propshaft.

    ahhh, so what would be a fair price to pay for the 1934 tranny and would it be worth trying to get the V8 flathead as well?

    1934 V8 Flathead and Tranny all original, could someone guide me on what would be a good price to offer. He says it was rebuilt, has 97 stromberg, and everything else that came stock with the motor?
