Thanks for reading my post. I have searched for the answer to my questions but did NOT end up with the answers I'm needing. I just bought the "back half" of a 1935 Ford Cabriolet. I am going to build a traditional hot rod with it. I NEED doors for sure. SO, My Questions Are, Are 1935 and 1936 Ford cars the same? I'm asking is a '35 coupe the same as a '36 coupe, '35 sedan the same as a '36 sedan etc???? ALSO, do all '35 doors have the same profile at the top? I know there are differences in the width of the doors. Do any of you have the measurements of the various doors of 1935 Fords, like a 2 door coupe vs a roadster vs a 2 door sedan vs a cabriolet vs a 4 door sedan etc..?? How does the sheetmetal differ from a '35-'36 to a 1937/1938? I also need a cowl but that isn't as big of a concern as the doors at this point. I hope all of this makes sense to all of you & I'm looking forward to some good and correct answers. Thank You!! Mark

The bodies are the same, all the fenders and hood and grille are different.

The cabriolet doors have a unique profile just below the windows, not just cut down coupe doors.

The Chevy Pope, I’m in Ooltewah Tennessee, just outside of Chattanooga.

Does anyone know which model has the longest doors? Mark

Tops of the '35 & '36 3w coupe doors are different. The rear corner is rounded, while the 5w coupes & sedans are squared off.

Ok. I’ll try to look up some pictures of the different models. I’m thinking that what I’m wanting to do I can achieve with any of the 35-36 doors. NOW, the task of locating them begins. Mark
