A freinf of mine has a 1936 plymouth coupe he is building. But the frame he has is a 1935. we was just wondering if the frames would interchange. the 1935 frame had a coupe body on it.

According to Hollander's, the frames don't interchange directly. What Hollander's doesn't say is there may be only minor differences. Try it and see, after all, if you're a hot rodder, a torch, a sawzall and a BFH will make anything fit! :D

My Chrysler Catalogue says both the '35 and '36 Plymouths were all new cars, but the frames were of similar design, and that the '36 was improved with boxed side members, an X member, and a left front spring kick shackle. If the wheelbase is the same, I'd try it, too.
