    Good morning folks!

I'm trying to install the new external door handles (reproductions) in my 35 FORD Twodor, which has the original locks, and I am having some difficulties and I am needing your help!

1 - At the time of fitting, the length of the rod handle is much longer than the width of the door. I'll have to cut the rest?

2 - In the lock, one side of the hole that fits the rod is fixed and the other is the mechanism that moves. However, when I installed the handle through the two holes, the lock was locked, without movement, and is impossible open the door. Any idea why this happens? I have to make some adjustment on the rod at this location?

3 - The locks on the two doors are original from the car, and interestingly there is only key on the p***enger side. Why?

Please, someone have experience in the installation of these locks and door handles, and can help me?

    Thank you,
    Rod
