I recently removed the drive train from a 1935 Ford PU and have no use for the transmission. I drove the truck to my shop, 20 miles or so, with no problems. It's a four speed in good condition. Complete from release bearing to rear cover/mount. If there is anyone who needs it, wants it, contact me. I'd be willing to trade for...I dunno, wadda ya got?
We are building a 1935 Ford pick up project in auto shop. We may need it. Currently we will be swapping the frame, so we wont know for a while. What drive train did you go with? Thanks, Bill
That's a Farmer Brown transmission. Rearend is probably a tall number too giving a highway ride at 35-45 MPH.
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. The engine is a 302 with a C4 and a Nova rear end. The gearbox is in very good condition. If it is a school project, I will sell VERY reasonably but you pay shipping.
So? It's still what it is., A stock gearbox. I am not trying to sell to a hot rodder, but rather making it available to anyone who may be restoring a pickup. We ALL know what the ratios are. But, thanks for pointing it out. Hmm, maybe I ought to throw it away? (smiling) Signed Farmer Brown
