this is one of the best builds i've seen,,,,great workmanship, great ideas, , , the mid -late 30s chryslers/plymouths have some of the best lines going,,hard to understand why they aren't built as kustoms more often, , bet they WILL be after people see your car, , , that thing is just GORGEOUS!

Love it, what size tires are you using now? Just picked up a 36 Plymouth coupe project myself last week.

There 6", im actually trying to find a set of 5" wide steelies. If i put a thinner rim wont it make the tire look fatter?

Whats up Skoty, car looks bitchin and if you put thinner rims it will make look way better and not all fat and bubbly...

Yeah it should do the trick. I think that 5" wheels would fix the fat and bubbly issue and really look nice.

On that style car I wouldn't be opposed to 4-4.5" 16" wheels with caps and 6.00 series firestones but I think you are going for something a little different so the 5" wide x 15" wheels will definitely be cool.

    Lookin good dude.

I guess how i saw it was the tire thread width is what it is and if a skinnier rim was put on, it would almost give a sucked in look. Thanks notch, ill have to find some 5" rims now.

Yeah i agree. Im gonna try skinier rims and see what happens. Id like to run 16" but im already knee deep in rims and tires.
