Yeah as much i want to run the hood and i should be, honestly to me it just doesnt look good. I dont like how the front of the body pinches so much. With the hood on it makes the car look even more pinched and side view it makes the nose look super long. 35-36 fords have wider hoods and i feel look good. I keep putting it on and wanting to say it looks good but it just doesnt for me.

I know you've thought of this already - what do you think it would look like with a wider (Ford?) front clip? Or can you widen the existing hood somehow? Of course the problem is then at the grill.

Maybe run the hood top but not the sides? That can look good and would let you avoid the pinched look.

Anyway I trust your judgment on this one :) - you've proven you have a good eye.

So after further staring at my car i was thinking about doing something different with the tailight. Instead of running a 36 ford light i have decided to seek out a 37 zephyr rear light with plate mt. Etc. Some great friends of mine have put together a light for me. Thanks guys
i have a video of the car running for its first time and i will also post pics of the rear tailight.

Good news, i have now added a 1936 ford 3 window coupe to my family of automobiles. This build will be coming at a later date after the plymouth is finished. We are in the process of building a 1936 ford 3 window for a customer and the build thread will be up soon. Hope you all have a blessed day.
