I used the same grill in my 40 Chevy.
In order to mount it, I used threaded hex tube cut to about 1" lengths and attached those with socket head allen bolts through the grill mount points. Then after those are all in place, I took 1"x1" square tube (that runs vertically along the length of either side of the back of the grill) and drilled holes where the threaded hex could insert into the 1x1 tube, slid those in there and welded all those hex to the 1x1 which then gives you two 'runners' of 1x1 on either side of the back of the grill with threaded mounting that attach via the allens. Then you just need to fab up supports to those 1x1 runners and fair that all into the car with sheet.
    If that makes any sense.
It is a very heavy grill, and this setup not only gives you a whole lot of support, but also hidden mounting.

Skoty dude im not kidding, i really wanna know what kind of disk you use to grind your welds.
I use a thin grindin disk (1.5 mm) but it doesnt look half as smooth as your work, and i'd love to get at least close to that kind of finish.
    THANX.

Wha-- That thing is sexy, I saw the first picture and then the second and I thought "someone has taken over the thread" but no, you just did some work. You should paint it white after the build, it looks good on the side with white... in my opinion.
