I have a new to me 1936 Chevy, with #5 nice California artillery rims, 5 lug with #5 original hub caps. (Original lug nuts too) Any takers? Dig deep Also the Car has 80K miles (it was in a garage since 1966 on blocks). So the trans is in great shape and it all goes, back to the rear brake linings. The 216 is next, i will start it and post on Utube soon,(Running) Make offer. (Going with a 50's custom look and a 327, 4spd with a Sids dropped axle.) I hope this is the correct forum for this type of message-
First of all thanks for the tip on the Classified section- As far as the "Sids" dropped axle, I was referred to www.droppedaxles.com in Oklahoma. He seems to be the guy to drop axles, I have a contact for someone who does only Fords in Phoenix, he highly recommeds "Sid" . He does most of the PU truck axles etc, I see his name on this board often, for vehicles less common than a 32-39 ford car. -R
Yes it is the red car, I lived on the same street back in 1967, that car was parked on and that car was right there on blocks in the garage ever since. It will be black or black cherry in color, with a late small block, dropped axle. Thanks, it is a gem-
