1936 Ford 5-window... to chop or not to chop?

can't believe i am saying this, but no chop on a 36 5w

 

After all these posts, not sure what the consensus is, but I add my vote to the "don't chop it," just think that 5-windows look better with stock top...

 

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Agreeo mucho. Led sled 36 3 windows are like 32 roadsters these days. At the LA roadster show I counted 8 35/36 3 windows to only 5 tri five chevies! These cars look amazing as hot rods. Keep it white, put flames on it. Do anything awesome, but please don't put skirts on it! Unless you want to, it is yours, after all. A well executed chop on a 36 5w looks tough as hell, but the stock top does too. Skirts don't look tough. Ever.

 

3w's look good chopped, 5w's look good un-chopped

 

If it is chopped the right way it will look great! I say Chop it !

 

Do not chop that car.
