Brothers i know from hometown bought a 1936 Ford Cabriolet. Its restored and in fine condition. They have noticed that the door hinges arent in not so good condition that they should be.So the question is,does anyone repop new hinges for '36 Fords?

Nothing as good as Ford would. What is wrong with their original hinges? Could new or oversize pins fix it?

I'm pretty sure the hinges are welded to the doors. Are they willing to cut those out of the car and ruin the paint? And any new hinge would need a lot of work to adjust the door gaps, and many repro hinges are cast and can't be bent to fit.

Just saying that unless the hinges are torched to pieces, or rusted to half their original thickness, it would better to fix what they have.

The originals are forged steel, so they could also weld and remachine them if they are that bad.
