Both zinc and iron phosphate have been used in the powder coating industry for decades here in the US although most coaters offer iron phosphate.

    Thank You Sirs !
Oskar is now 13y old. Friends, skating, 20nr too big jeans,.... he is interested in cars, mopeds etc, but I let him have own hobbies.... of course basic school takes time and I hope he is going it well.

I sold my 1932 Cabriolet with twin spark plug heads (21bolt).
Also sold that 1932 roadster project which You can see pics.
I increase few pics of that roadster to my 5w coupe thread. I promised to do some extra jobs before he takes car (I chopped 1" more windshield frame + posts, I put together 304cid engine, I changed 3.54:1 ring and pinion).
I hope he can make car ready. Easy project, think I.

I want to get ready this 36 pick up and continue my 5w coupe project. I want to chop it, make sheetmetal jobs ready..... Yesterday arrived to Finland my new family member. 1955 chevrolet cameo carrier. Running project. I keep it like it is. On Monday I drive down to Helsinki and bring her home.

Last week bought and today tested first time Mirka Deos 383CV electric orbital sander.
    I liked very much.
I sell bearings to MIRKA sanding paper/machine factory. They gave
me special price 350euro. Not cheap, but OK for me. 2years ago I get special price 500euro Deros 650CV electric random orbital sander + vacuum cleaner (dust).

    Hello,
Basic compressor + 3 x water filter in outlet.
Normal Anest Iwata 300-400euro value spray gun.

Today I painted cabin. Never 100% but it looks OK. No "Norway mounting view.
Finally next week I put car together. Now only bed is bolted on frame.

I really enjoy following along with your different projects. You turn out nice work between your garage and driveway which makes your work all the better. Keep up the good work and posting it as you go.

    Thanks.
They wonder here "where Aulis get all that power...." While Im little tired (daywork, coffee shop in Seinäjoki market place from April to October, house, son.....) but I have system which keep thing in right order.... I start days earlier 4.30-5.00, evenings I just do nothing. Read this websites, see TV, keep fire on fireplace...
I dont know why Im so interested in still built those rods... maybe too simple to jump off from this rat race....

Tomorrow morning I take apart orange 3m x 6m tent. Neighbours maybe not like it as much than I need it.
I put it together next springtime (march, april) when I need to spray epoxy primer over my 1932 5w coupe.
Next week I put 1936 pick up together. Fenders, fender welt, running boards, cabin, grill.... 36 pu owner must built car ready (electrics, interior, gl***es, bed woods,..... I want to continue my 32 project after 2-3year pause.

The badge looks like the S and M Federation. I tried googling that but I think my wife turned on the parental controls on my phone again.

I like that sander, would keep the shop a bit cleaner.

@aulis you're quite a busy man...I think you thrive with this type of lifestyle and fact of the matter is your still young at heart...

I know you really have a p***ion for vintage Hotrod but with your business the scope is understandably broader as many in old cars have interests that are beyond the flathead so to speak...but here I really enjoy that p***ion of the vintage spirit that's always visible in the Couple in that old Car on the wall in your shop almost looking wowed by the things you do to those old Hotrods...I look forward to the Coupe and even that Cameo...and who knows what else old will find a spot in the shop...bring it on Hamber...;)

    Thank You Sir.
You´r correct, now a days its little busy, but I have own system how I do things. Dayjob 3-4hours day, hot rods 4-6hours day, little sporting, homeworks, sleeping more than 7hours night... Old style hot rods are intresting. Also all old race cars, aircraft stuff.... Of course like old motorcycles, but.... I need to say that summer is not so long and I dont have so much time that I can use those. I dont like garage queens. Cars and motorcycles are made for driving.

Today I removed orange "painting room". Next time I will use it 2024 spring when 32 coupe body and parts are ready for epoxy primer.

Tailgate is rather straight. It was not rost, but looked more like "potato sack".
Today I increase few pics when I drop body on frame.
