I need to replace the front spring on my 36 ford pickup. I need to know the correct uninstalled length to order the right one. The spring that is in it has been reversed eye and is to low. I tried on the ford barn with no help! I believe either 38' or 39", but not sure. Thanks Ron. PS it has a 59ab flathead

The length depend on several things. Stock or split wishbones for example.
Call Posie's or look on their website and it tells how to get the correct length.

  3. Too low?
    It bottoms out?
    Or it looks bad?

Bottoming out may mean you need more shock absorber. What shocks are you using? Have you had them off to see how much effort it takes to open and close them?

    Just some thoughts.

I have a reversed Posies on my 36 with the 4" dropped CE axle and it hits the wishbones on the frame. Looks cool, but shakes your teeth if it bottoms out. Sorry, I can't answer you for sure.
