My dad, Albert Drake, passed away last year. He was a hot rod historian and general old car enthusiast.
I'm finally getting around to selling some of his cars.
This 1936 Ford Pickup needs some TLC and then to be used as a daily driver. My dad said "it'll never be a show car, but it's a good old pickup." I'm including one photo from a couple years ago when the paint was still shiny. This car runs, but it's touchy - has a crusty wire from the ignition.
Al bought this pickup from Memory Lane Motors around 1999.
We have it from a reliable source that this was the shop car for the Dick Niles Lincoln Mercury dealership near PSU in the mid 60s. It may have a Mercury motor for more horsepower.
He would've preferred that I sell it to someone in the Portland / Northwest area, and to handle the transaction in person.

A little bit more info about the car:
    - It runs, but there's a problem with a crusty wire from the ignition so it's tricky to start. I need to replace the wire.
    - My dad was driving it on a semi-weekly basis until about 2 years ago. I drove it for him to an event March of 2023. Haven't been driving it since then
    - The paint job is... well, I was going to clean it up, but turns out the stuff I was cleaning was all primer.
    - Undercarriage is all sturdy. The engine is OK.
    - Interior upholstery is cracking
    - Windshield wipers are the old style... driven by engine vacuum. They need some work

    Hi All,
    The truck has been sold.
A "kid" from the portland area bought it (well, he _was_ a kid 20+ years ago).
