My '36 pickup is needing a headliner. Macs has a fiberglass version and a cardboard one, has anyone had experience with either? Is there a better option?
I like vinyl with the metal rods that bridge & hold them up....not sure how to retro fit them if not equipt originally
I have never done one personally, but I have been told the fiberglass versions really don't fit very well, and the thickness makes it hard to make any adjustments to it.
This one has been in a long time'70's I'd bet and needs some adjusting,but it's the type i like. they were standard in production cars in the '60's and probably much earlier/later
Avoid the fiberglass. If there is enough left of the original to use for patterns, you can buy the original type headliner material in sheets from upholstery supply houses.
