1936 Ford PU headliner

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fordoholic, Sep 4, 2012.

  1. My '36 pickup is needing a headliner. Macs has a fiberglass version and a cardboard one, has anyone had experience with either? Is there a better option?

I have never done one personally, but I have been told the fiberglass versions really don't fit very well, and the thickness makes it hard to make any adjustments to it.

Need louvers is totallycorrect. They don't fit well and they're not adjustable.

This one has been in a long time'70's I'd bet and needs some adjusting, but it's the type i like.

they were standard in production cars in the '60's and probably much earlier/later

  6. Avoid the fiberglass. If there is enough left of the original to use for patterns, you can buy the original type headliner material in sheets from upholstery supply houses.
