Need help on a 36 ford roaster. What keeps the windsheild open are closed????And any thing else you can tell me about the pecularities of this roaster no roll up windows ( side curtains )... what h.p. ? 60- 85? sounds dumb , but I got a look ate this car for about 15 minuets
Rubber on the bottom edge of the windshield frame should keep it from popping through backwards. No 60 horse engines until 1937.
Roadsters don't have side gl***, cabriolets have side gl***. @alchemy is correct no 60 horse motor until '37 and if it is the stock motor you are now learning why some of us don't use flatheads, 125 ponies is a lot of work for the money in a flathead. If the windshield tilts ( I don't recall on a '36 so it is if from me) you loosened the thumb screws and tilted it then tightened them back down. It was not something that you did while motoring down the road.
It's too late man, he already ate that roaster and did 15 minuets (that's a lotta dancin' !) Just busting your hump, @cajundixie! '36 Roadsters are as cool as it gets! If you can afford it, buy it, spend some time here and you will soon come to understand why. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
