Can someone tell me if this clutch shaft lever arm is installed correctly and is it the correct lever for my 36 pickup? There is very little engagement at the end of the freeplay(first picture) before the lever and adjusting clevis hit the bellhousing. The lever looks bent towards the bell housing or on backwards not allowing enough travel. Thanks, Art

Does the linkage pull or push? The lever looks like it's bent to me. Also, if the lever pulls back to release the clutch it would be on upside down. A larger view would be a help. Look closely at the pin that goes through the lever and shaft and try to see if there's evidence of tampering with the pin.

It pushes to release the clutch so it hits the bellhousing. If it was turned around it would give more room to travel. Art
