Problem is even the customer sometimes don't see this and think you're trying to screw him up...
    Love this thread.

  2. This exactly why I always have the customer help me with one patch early on into the job. After helping for an hour or so they fully understand from that point on. Works every time.

The 36 Chev we had is back for some up grading of a few things First we are replacing the mustang II car suspension with a Heidts power rack suspension & second we will be rebuilding the left front fender to match the right plus a few other small things. Which I will mention later as the build progresses. So here is what we are starting with.

Jim I do not know what year it is out of all I know is it steers like crap & the women that owns the car has a hard time driving it. Originally she wanted just to add a power rack till I explained how bad it cobbed in & just adding a power unit would not fix all the problems, her & husband had a discussion & decided just fix it wright as they plan on driving it for several years. They have a couple of other rigs but this is the one getting the attention now with the other later.

Tt was all hammer, dolly, slap & shrink disc. The bondo worm holes were drilled out & plugs were tig welded in. All it needs is a couple of heavy coats of epoxy primer & a good block out no mud now.
