Is there any other wiper transmissions that will work with a stock '37 Chevy sedan? My car was gutted when bought and finding replacement wiper ***embly without breaking the bank is difficult to say the least.

"breaking the bank" is a relative term. I & I Reproductions has an excellent set of new repro transmissions for just under $300.00....some times on sale. I bought a set for mine and was extremely well pleased. As for alternatives, not sure what you mean. Units from other GM models of the '37/'48 era? Might be adapted, but they differ in significant details. There are other systems you can adapt, such as the cable driven kits. It would require some minor surgery to the cowl, but nothing really burdensome (again, a relative term).

The 38 Chevy is a little different design but will fit in the same hole. These are impossible to find but they do repop them.

Contact me @ bigolfury@yahoo.ca. I've got a set I'd be willing to part with. And
I'll even make sure they're properly lubed up and ready to use. They'll be from a 39 if that matters to you.
