  1. A Huge Thank you to MOOSE for the photo shop work!! This is amazing I posted on the photo shop thread asking for color with out giving any preference as far as my preference. the only thing I asked for was the belt line be cream to match the dash. Moose nailed it I have been thinking about burgundy/ Maroon since I bought the car I am amazed he came up with this color now I am convinced this is the color for my car. Thank you again MOOSE!!! Hobo Jim

  3. Thank you Mike, Its a long way from the pic but I did just get the new wire harness I'm not going to try and save the old one its just to hacked up. I went with a 14 circuit harness from Kwik Wire I am looking forward to getting the motor running will be nice to make some noise in the garage other than my motor sounds Ha Ha (don't tell anyone) Hobo Jim

Looks good in that colour Jim. Have you ever considered a 2 tone paint scheme? I had a look around, but I'm sticking to one colour. Do you have all the chrome trim for the outside?

  5. I have been told that two tone is easier to paint so that will be an option I do not have any exterior chrome even if I did I am not planning on using any I want a clean look to the exterior. I would consider using the hood ornament if I could find a good one at a good price. (needle in a haystack) but that would be the extent of the exterior chrome. Hobo Jim

  8. Nothing really exciting today sealed the floors and cut out some rust on the bottom of the passenger door. I was excited to find only a little rot on the bottom of the passenger door everything else is in Great Shape!! Getting ready for wiring Hobo Jim

going well mate! what vehicle did those front seats come from?

  10. I'm not sure I 'm not going to use them I just left the drivers seat in so I could move the car without sitting on an egg crate. I want to go with bench seats probably out of a mini van sometime this spring. Thank you for the comment Hobo Jim

  14. I have finished the tranny tunnel and the custom top plate that I call a motorcycle gas tank I wanted this to look like a 1920's motorcycle gas tank with the flat sideslike the early Harley's or Indians. I really like this look I haven't seen this combination before that is one of the reasons I wanted to build this.

I took advantage of the warm weather today and finished the install

  17. Your tunnel piece turned out nice. (don't expect too much from cell or point & shoot cameras under
    difficult (contrasting) lighting conditions)
You're a brave man to face that wiring alone!

  18. Thank you 36 Rokit yeah the wiring is a lot of metal work laying it out I always try to have something else to work on when I get frustrated with the wiring I can go and form some metal. Hobo Jim

  19. Perfect solution; before tearing out hair, proceed to workbench, find bf-hammer, and do some metal-shaping!
    Been there myself!

  21. I kinda like wiring and I think you will too if you just constantly challenge yourself to make it as clean as possible. Because there are sooooo many hacked up wiring jobs out there.

  22. Yeah the wiring in this car was a hack job I have done them before the key is spend the time laying them out and you end up with a quality job. Thank you for the comment
