I'm looking for rear leaf springs for a 1937 Plymouth coupe. The right rear is sagging. Does anyone know of a new leaf that will work, or a 37 one. Thanks.

As long as yours aren't cracked or pitted or otherwise compromised, just have them re-arched.

On my '40, they are narrower than modern Mopar springs. Also they are covered with a shield, which makes it more work to service.
I imagine if they are not, it would be fairly normal to do as @earlymopar says.
Most modern stuff ends up being less quality than OE but this company advertises they do them.

I can't remember if it's this place or another that often comes up with good reviews here. You can search. Also there are some wrecking yards that might help.
Like headlights and brakes, most would recommend replacing in pairs.

  4. Look up Atlas Spring and Axle in Wichita, KS. They did a wonderful job making a reverse-eye main front spring for my '29 Model AA truck. More than reasonable, fast and perfect. Love those guys!

Don't know if this helps since my 1948 Flat Rate Manual only goes down to 1938. But it looks like 1938 - 1948 rear spring ***embles are the same between plymouth, dodge, and desoto. If you want, later today when I'm in the shop, I can get you a couple measurements off a 1941 & 48 Desoto.

The rear springs are 1 3/4" wide and most later ones are 2 1/2" wide.

ebay. Quite happy with these springs on my 37 Dodge sedan. likely same spring for the plymouth coup. measure and see. Attached link has the spring number and seller information you can find on eBay. I wound up converting to L shackles and rubber bushings to eliminate the pesky always stuck threaded bushings and U shackles.

Been riding around 3 years now, no worries, very happy.
