I want to keep my original rear view mirror in the 37 Nash. BUT, at night I am blinded from the headlights of the cars behind me. What are your solutions for this? I have looked at the big auto parts stores with no solutions... Maybe tinting the mirror?

get a vintage day/night mirror. I know Chevrolet ones are pretty easy to find... I bet you could find one from another manufacturer that would work in your Nash. here's one listed for a 50'sChevrolet

^ good idea with the 2 way mirror. If you can't use it at night, might as well turn it down a little. Or... remember when mini-venetian blinds were popular on customs? Gary

  4. Find a pair of flip down sunglasses, clip them on the mirror and flip them down as needed. Works on my model A

  6. 40 Ford rear view mirrors had a dark glass that cut down on rear headlight glare.

  7. I took a sheet of smoke colored window tint and applied it over the glass on my inside mirror of my hiboy Model A.
The tinted film was left over from my Caprice convertible I owned in the 70's.
Worked good for me and cost less than a Subway sandwich.

I found an old Fulton "Mirror Glare Shield" years ago, which fit on the mirror of my '37 Chevy perfectly. It's made of a blue plastic / plexiglass-type material and is 2½"x6". Here's a few pics of it......
