    Sneaky one above. Looks like it was taken in the good old days. The bolts holding the grille in caught my eye first and the light bulb came on and I thought I know who's car that is.

    Don't keep us in suspense! I thought the front axle was lightened a bit more besides just the holes drilled in it the ends are machined out more resembling the "I" beam shape.

    Holy crap - that car was one of my favorites - really had an influence on me - so much that I still have that issue of the magazine! That High dollar coral one sucked in comparison! Celeste DeMilt's willys was another favorite of mine too - I wonder where it is?

    Yea,I owned the yellow willys on the cover of HOT ROD Feb.of 87,I bought it in 95, It was rode hard and put away wet.I really wanted a Gasser though.So I sold it in Dec. of 99 because I thought it would'nt be cost affective to turn it into a gasser.Then I built my glass one.
