1blown57 I knew Kevin also, he bought a Willys PU from a friend of mine Dave Daly who owned and drove the MG I have. I met Kevin at the Dover reunions and we talked Willys a lot. The S/S Speed shop you mention is that the one in Richmond Hill NY it's S & S Speed Shop if it is, I went to highschool with those guy's. Whose chopped top PU is that?

That Pick up was on auction sight a few years ago kevin was gonna build a replica . I found it for him. He did find his original Cab of his chopped 40 p/u . 3 miles away in Conn. guy would not sell it . but they became buds .

 

I know who that is his name is Cvr sp. and he runs at the 100' drags in CT.

As it say's this is Bill Boer's car another one out of Jack Merkel's shop. Bill had a shop in Islip LI NY. This car became a street rod and was owned by Jack Olcott then he sold it maybe 8 years ago. Whereabouts unknown.

Got this from "vintage shots of days gone by" Sanzo's PU 1st season out with Paul Sullivan and Wayne Jr. Hopkins behind car. Paul would later partner with Eddie on the 33 Willys coupe and Jr. who crewed on Jack Merkels Willys went into racing Jr. Stockers
