That red one looks like a glass car but the gray one looks like a nice real steel coupe. I heard it fetched 150 grand? Anybody know the sale numbers from the auction? I wonder if its the same gray one from Michigan that I posted pictures of earlier in this post?

Yes, its a repro. I looked for some time before I found a correct coupe handle. They are so hard to find I buy parts just to put together correct ones.

    Dave,
A very good friend of mine was at the auction. He called me after the stock gray coupe sold. It did sell for $150,000.00. Not sure on the red one.

Live net feed showed the grey car at 145K then you have to ad commissions.so I'd say somewhere around 155K.

A little off topic, but thought this would be a good place to ask if anyone remembers a wind up, toy '41 Willys that extended out and took off. Bout the size of a muscle machine. My uncle gave it to me as a kid ('70's) and of course it eventually was over wound and later discarded. I ever so often will search the web hoping for a picture but have never had any luck. Anyone have a pic? Thanks.

I think you're referring to the Aurora Imposters cars.
