  9. This is such a great thread. Some pictures of toys and such got me to thinking. I have some really cool things that different talented artists have done of my Willys. I thought this thread would be a cool place to showcase all of there much appreciated talents! This one was done at the track, guy just sat on the ground next to my car and started drawing it!

  10. Kev,
As an old drag racer, those photos of the SWC car, with Cook, Pittman, and Arteaga, at Wayne Arteaga's alley garage are priceless. That's how it was back then. We flat towed our cars, or pulled them on a short open trailer, and worked on them where ever we could. Wayne's partner John Helmuth, is even in those shots. Sadly most of those guys are gone! But that was the way it was!

  12. Our club has a halloween party every year and we have Hot Wheels drags! My buddy Steve and Mark at S&M Auto Body made this hot wheel for me!

  13. I get a pm on the hamb and this kid in Australia wants to build a model of my car! So I send him a lot of pictures to show detail. He really wants a lot of pictures! Then he sends me updates and keeps me in the loop on his build. I gotta say, he is real fast at what he does too! Then he sends me these pictures of the car finished!

He wants my shipping info cause he wants me to have the model! Never asking for anything! I got the model in the mail the other day. He even included a tube of super glue for possible repairs that may have been required because of shipping it across the globe! Thank you is not enough! Michael, I am sending you a couple Rebel Reaper t-shirts and a signed poster I made especially for you! Thanks!</LABEL>

  17. Questions:
Oregon Billy...we have talked a few times over the years (are about the same age) and share our love of the Willys cars. I've seen a few of your manifolds come up on ebay...my question: what do you have for a drive train in your sedan now?

Kiwi Kev...love that shot of all the Willys in a row (cover of your WCWC), was that the Texan (-4th car from the left), and what ever happened to that car (did it ever get finished)???

The only one I got... and it's most likely a glass car.

Hey Dave & Kevin, you guys playing "dueling Willys"? Thought I heard banjos twanging...:D

Check out this teak hand carved '41 I found in Hawaii years ago at a tourist gift store - rear roof line a bit off but otherwise pretty close. Never seen another one like it. Vic
