And the Corvette doesn't have base/clear on it. Does the Willys still exist?

Imagine if Willys had continued making passenger cars in 1946....

  14. Dave,
What happened to the front fender on that flamed black '41 coupe???

...and Weasel, maybe it's a good thing that Jeeps caught on...I have seen those pics before and that thing is ugly! But who knows...they all considered the 37-38-39 front ends ugly, and now they are popular!

  15. Here's a Willys Rat Rod...I hope he just used what he had, and didn't cut one up for this build. To each his own...everyone has their own taste...remember the Willys COE I posted earlier...ugly but cute if you know what I mean. I like the concept of these cars...and most of all they are Willys!

Back in the days when tech inspection was held in the Speedway Shopping center. Race cars were not allowed on the grounds at Indianapolis Raceway Park until they had passed tech.

No. The gentleman went so far as to have us hold it for about 3 weeks said that he would call and set up a time to come and look at it and then we never heard from him again.

To be honest, you wouldn't want me to buy it ... I'd be putting her back on the street.
