Paul- Every chop is different, but these two are very close from what I can see. Not too many chopped 37 to 42 coupes out there so the chances are good. Not alot of action on the one in e-bay, is the economy that bad or is it the chopped top or just both?
    Dave.

I just looked at the two cars a bit closer and can see they are not the same, different year bodys.

  20. Unique hood treatment...wonder what it looks like closed. Finishes off that cowl area. Should have put the hinges a bit farther apart.

  26. Worried about the Joplin Missouri Willys boys! Several long time Willys guys in the Joplin MO area, all with coupes...great guys! Anyone out there know if they are ok? I am getting older, but I remember three of the four names (there were 4)... Chuck Comer (Suicide Ride), Terry West (nose high Flamed '39), and a friend I met about 8 years ago building another '39 coupe, Jim Hunt. Hope they are safe...the pictures on the news are bleak indeed. Looks like a massive bomb hit.

Our prayers are with all in the Joplin area. This weather is changing fast, I can count on one hand how many nice days we have had in the last couple months here in Ohio.
