I posted a couple of photos of this TJR ute earlier in this thread. Here are a couple more. The 1940 front clip would not appear to be original to the ute although it has obviously been on there for years. As far as I am aware T.J. Richards did not make Willys bodies after 1937 or maybe early 1938. The bed is much shorter than the Holden and Mitchell bodied coupe utes as there is more cab room in the longer five window body than the three window. Vision is improved too....

Grille looks like another brand fitted to the 1940 Willys centersection after the center grille divider was removed. For today another 1938 Holden bodied Willys ute.... [IMG]

  22. Looks like the Holden bodied cars used a coupe style door with a thinner lip, while the TJR bodies used a sedan-like door. Also seeing both types of rear windows.
WILLYSCOUPE has some nice project cars...don't see drip rails on the coupes...might they be '37 bodies??? Dash that can be seen isn't '37 however.

After searching this thread for the best stance I keep coming back to this one.
Plus it looks like it was built from a super nice stocker - all steel - nice trim still in place ….bumping it for coolness factor.
