    Howza Bruthas and Sistas-

I love Fords from '36-'40. The lines just speak what Bob Gregorie and Edsel Ford must have been drawing up in Dearborn. Now, I love rare and unusual things about these cars even more. Did Ford offer Kelsey Hayes wire wheels on these?

Oh, sure I could google this and get 1,500,000 answers and learn about a **** site dedicated to Edsel's but I come here where the Kuh-Nauledge is.

So did they? Was it a high dollar option?

    Popular?

    Were any trucks ever equipped?

36-39 were wide five bolt pattern. i saw a 40 ford with 35 16 inch wires on it once. it was a big mistake.

By the time the solids came out in '40 wires were no longer popular, and many of the speed shops made good business selling '40 wheels. I find it hard to belive they were even an option in '40 being they dont especially like '40 drums in the first place because the drums dont have the lip needed to support them properly in the first place
